Donate to the Badger’s Mission

Hello everyone,
As I approach the one-year anniversary of Dan Schneider’s passing, I have a heavy heart and moist eyes more often. I have chosen to take this energy and focus on a project in Dan’s memory. With the support of SF Urban Riders, Sutro Stewards, and SF Parks Alliance I am fulfilling a request Dan once voiced to me… He wanted a bench in San Francisco on one of the many trails he brought to life.

Good news: We found a spot out on the Laguna Honda Hospital perimeter above the Juvenile Detention Center off of Panorama. It’s a great spot to stop and have a snack, enjoy the view or just take a moment to be grateful you’re not in Jail.

I’m grateful for the community that Dan was a part of and wanted to share the fundraiser we put together. We are raising funds for not only the bench but also to continue Dan’s mission to build and maintain trails for everyone to enjoy open space from their doorstep on a bike, a hike, or a stroll with the family.
