Cost
Beginner Registration Only = $25
Beginner Registration + Tshirt = $40
Sport Registration Only = $45
Sport Registration + Tshirt = $60
Pro/Expert Registration Only = $45

Race Time / Categories 

  • Each category will have 15 minutes of warm-up on course before start.
  • Each category will feature age brackets on delayed start.
  • Last lap bell rings based on category leaders time.
9:30am – 10:15am Beginner Men        (30 minutes)   5 miles or 2 short laps
10:15am – 11:00am Beginner Women (30 minutes)   5 miles or 2 short laps  
11:00am – 12:00am Sport Women       (55 minutes)   11+ miles or 4-5 long laps
12:00pm – 1:00pm   Sport Men #1 35-years and Under        (55 minutes)   11+ miles or 4-5 long laps
1:00pm – 2:00pm   Sport Men #2   36-Years and Older     (55 minutes)   11+ miles or 4-5 long laps
2:00pm – 2:30pm Cargo Bike Hill Climb Challenge  
2:30pm – 3:45pm Pro / Expert Women (75 minutes) 16+ miles or 6-7 long laps
3:45pm – 5:00pm Pro / Expert Men/Single Speed     (75 minutes) 16+ miles or 6-7 long laps
Note- SINGLE SPEED  Race will be  (60 minutes) 11+ miles or 4-5 long laps

2014 Long Course Description:

Length – 2.4 mile loop course
Elevation – 350+/-  feet per lap
Terrain – Paved road start followed by rolling single/double track through grassland with hard pack dirt, and into flowing singletrack through the woods, down some stairs, and up several switchbacks.
Course is not overly technical, but trends toward fast and fun downhills with challenging climbs, and spectacular scenery.

2014 Short Course Description:

Length – 2.1 mile loop course
Elevation – 275+/-  feet per lap
Terrain – Paved road start followed by rolling single/double track through grassland with hard pack dirt, and into flowing singletrack through the woods.
Course is not overly technical, but trends toward fast and fun downhills with challenging climbs, and spectacular scenery.

Bike Recommendation:

Course is ideal for Mountain Bikes!
Recommend Hardtail and Cross Country style bikes for this event.
Cyclorcoss bike can be ridden, but with the new course modifications it will be more fun on a Mountain Bike.

Registration Fees Include:

All net proceeds go to SF Urban Riders and the McLaren Bike Park project. Fees include; insurance, accurate computerized timing, EMT support, aid stations, optional event T-shirt, media materials, SFRPD park permit fees, SFRPD User Fee for park maintenance ($5 per rider), SFRPD Park Patrol staff, porta-potties, garbage cans, and recycling receptacles.

Prizes:

All categories will have prizes for the Top 3 finishers, with few random placements thrown in for good measure (We equally like #’s 11, 17, and 38).
Category prizes will consist of highly fashionable items from our sponsors like:
