Wild Flower and History Tour of the Interior Greenbelt
10am – 1pm, Meet at McLaren Lodge 501 Stanyan St. (entrance to Golden Gate Park)

A map of the start location can be found here
SF Urban Riders director Dan Schneider will lead a 3-hour wild flower and history tour of San Francisco’s incredibly forgotten Interior Greenbelt. The Wildflowers in the San Francisco hills are coming to life, and this tour will show you the best places to enjoy them. The ride will feature many rare natives like the Pipe Vine, Ferry Bells, Blue Dix to name a few, as well as highlight some of the colorful history of the area. This ride requires climbing thru the hills of Mount Sutro, Twin Peaks and Glen Canyon so expect a decent workout. The route is an enjoyable mix of bike path, paved road and multi use trails that create a fun recreational loop. Mountain or cyclocross style of bike recommended.

What to bring- layers of clothing dependent on weather, water and snacks. This is a FREE ride.
