SF Urban Riders is an organization dedicated to creating more offroad cycling opportunities in San Francisco. Our goal is to build a city-wide network of trails where people of all ages and abilities can ride bikes for fun and as a way to experience the outdoors in an urban environment.

We’re glad you’re interested; take a look around this website to learn more about our work and about riding in San Francisco.

Come hang out with fellow bicyclists at your local park. Bring your bike, grab a complimentary brew from Sufferfest Beer, some grub, and a wrench. Get to work cleaning that chain, adjusting those cables, or replacing those brake pads with guidance from REI expert shop technicians. Work stands, tool sets, and REI expertise are provided free of charge. Don't know where to start, or have never touched any moving parts on your bike? That's OK, REI techs are on hand to walk you through some simple actions you can take to get your bike running smoothly. Have you recently taken a Bike Maintenance class at REI? Come practice your newly learned skills! While you wrench, we'll feature local ride group SF Urban Riders, to help you connect with new riding partners. Sufferfest Beer will flow, and REI will supply the know-how.

We (SFUR) could use a few people to hang out the entire time and let folks know about the great trails in SF--let us know if you can help! Or just stop by and say hello.
